TOUR ITINERARY

Day 01 : NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport – Gangtok (120 kms )

Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport & transfer to Gangtok (5,500 ft.). On arrival Check-in to hotel – rest of the day at leisure or Evening free for shopping.

Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 02 : Excursion To Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 km one way from Gangtok city , lake remain frozen during the winter season and also consider as a sacred lake . Lake surfaces also reflect the diff. color with changes of season. Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir is a Memorial & temple honoring Indian army soldier, folk hero & saint Baba Harbhajan Singh.

(Optional : Nathula pass depends upon permit availability on additional cost of Rs. 4,500/- to 5500/- per vehicle with permit (Monday and Tuesday pass is closed).

Overnight stay at Gangtok.

(In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing).

Day 3 : Gangtok Full day Local Sightseeing

After breakfast start for local sightseeing covering Tashi View Point offer you the majestic view of Mt. Kangchenjunga , Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Ropeway (Own payment ) , Namgyal Institute of Tibetology(closed on Sunday and govt. holidays) , Namnang View Point – Do drul Chorten Stupa , Ban Jhakri Falls ( 7 km From main Gangtok town ) – White halls – Directorate of handlooms & handicrafts – back to hotel.

Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 4 : Gangtok to Darjeeling (95 To 100 Km/ 3-4 Hrs)

After breakfast check-out from hotel on time & transfer to Darjeeling. Expected to reach Darjeeling at late afternoon. On arrival check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure or shopping. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 5 : Darjeeling Sightseeing

Early Morning (at 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill (8,400 ft.) to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds’ 3rd highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.

After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway and Japanese Temple. Evening free for shopping or leisure.

Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 6 : Darjeeling-Njp Rly Station / IXB Airport (75 kms / 3 hrs)

After breakfast check-out from hotel & transfer to NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport for your onward journey.
